Looking forward to being here for the first time. We will be there for both days so you can expect tales from the sea 🌊 glass hunter, beautiful framed art work from his treasured collection and kits to make your own work at home. I will also be promoting my workshops where you can come to my studio in Whitwick and spend a couple of hours (or more) in some mindful crafting. No artistic experience required. If you’re visiting then pop along and just say hello as the sea 🌊 glass hunter always loves a chat. So do I but his are longer! See you then!

I’ve had the opportunity to spend a bit of time creating some new pieces using the Scott Swindon @how_to_paint_with_watercolours course knowledge that I’ve learnt. These are available to purchase on my website and I will be creating some more for the next craft fairs

Such a wonderful afternoon yesterday with a group of ladies who came from London, Derby and Yorkshire to do a sea glass and watercolour workshop. We had a lot of fun and laughter experimenting with paint and ink. Everyone left with a beautiful piece and hugs all round. Had a very impromptu visit to the @creativecraftshowofficial at the NEC today. Put my big girl pants on and went on my own. Lots of amazing stands and exhibitors and was blown away by the fashion and embroidery section. Didn’t spend tooooooo much money and got some inspiration for some new pieces. Now I just need to find some time to have a play #creativecraft #cardiocards #inspiration #newideas

I had such a busy but amazing week with workshops with some incredibly talented ladies. We had a few firsts too - a red panda and a whale tail. Looking forward to this weekend with Coalville CAN on Saturday afternoon at 1pm and a Mother's Day session on Sunday at 2pm. Who am I?
I am Karen an ex teacher an an experienced sea glass artist.

What do I do?
I run a range of sea glass creative art workshops using sea glass, pottery and drifwood, paints, pen and ink in Whitwick.
